Anyone have issues with display Port DP to HDMI adapter?

Tried different adapter's differ HDMI cables monitor and TV still says no signal.

Dell 3020 tower. 5th Gen i5.
Lenovo think Centre - 6th Gen i5

All graphic drivers updated. ..

What can be the issue?

Depends on the display port, the el cheapo kinds need an active display port converter. Usually theres a DP++ icon at the port if the pc/laptop can do the conversion itself, if not, you need an active displayport adapter

Both pc's are towers. Both are doing the same I've tried different HDMI cables different monitors. Etc.

Bios doesn't say much? Graphics are updated.

Have you tried to enable the multiple monitor mode in the graphic settings?

I have a DP adapter between my pc and monitor. It works fine for a 1080p signal. As soon as i try it on 4K it stops working. So u get diff types for diff setups

Alright will try that device. But strange I've got a adapter shouldn't it work?

Make sure your HDMI cable is 1.4 or 2.0
1.3 will only support 720p and 1080i, not 1080p

Some passive dp to hdmi converters only works at 1080p (IIRC).

It might be an idea for the OP to get it working first before aiming for the sky.
