This was said last year, how many of you missed it?
How did you'll not expect Diwali not to take part this year like seriously now, its a problem even though you'll knew fireworks were gonna be used.

The type of firework is determined by the amounts of black powder it contains.
If its wrapped in colourful paper its not military grade.
If it has a Denel wrapper, by all means call the police.

The nice thing is that, subjectively, it seems every year's fireworks season is a bit less disruptive than the previous one. Long may the trend continue.

And if you buy it at a flea market, or import it yourself, or out the back of a van? The fact that you bought it makes it legal? WTF? By your argument there are no illegal drugs available in SA. There are no pirated DVDs either.

If its being advertised and sold over the counter in full sight it is not illegal.
At the flea market it is clearly displayed, are those illegal?
Some of those are pretty loud.

How do you know it's not illegal? How do you know every single vendor in this country is law-abiding? And how do you know the noise we're complaining about was made by fireworks bought legally?

You assume a lot.

It's neither good nor bad. It depends ENTIRELY on the culture. I think that the Boeremag or Suidlanders losing their culture of racism would be an awesome thing, don't you?

There is every chance that it is illegal.

Fleamarket sellers will more than likely not have the requisite licenses to sell, therefore EVERYTHING on the store will be illegal.

You assuming that your neighbours sourced A grade fireworks from a back door dodgy dealer?
Im assuming they bought it from over the counter.
 
Some people are racist, some people are just animal and some people are both. Now could we just end this thread already
