Maar vervlaks! You at least have the R20k then! No need to pesky lawyers.

So in this case why not just take out the computer box of the fender bendered BMW E36 318i with an M badge on the boot lid and go faster stripes over the bonnet, roof and boot lid too, and sell it for the insured amount.

There are some details about this incident that makes me think that it could all be a little fib. Am I the only one to think so?

No... This is an entertainment thread for saturnz. He keeps it going until it takes on a life of its own. Then he sits back and enjoy his creation.

Will someone pm me when the car is revealed :D after 17 pages and still not knowing, I'm rather disappoint :/

Let us know what happens further, saturnz.

 this thread had me at:

The car that was written off today with pump fuel & methanol makes well over 250kw/370nm on the wheels, with AVGAS & methanol 350kw/450nm reliably.

In a car that weighs a ton.

You think 17 pages are rough? Try 1991 posts... and that is pretty much what QT used as baseline when he deduced that the car in question must have been a BMW E36 318i with an M badge on the boot lid and go faster stripes over the bonnet, roof and boot lid too.

Nah that Monza thread was one of a kind. Probably will be read and enjoyed by my great great grandchildren. And at least everyone knew what the car was :D

17 pages and no car, not cool saturnz, not cool :p

Excuse my much known stupidity, but the 318is develops 103kW @ 6000 rpm and 175Nm @ 4000 rpm. That is the exact same figures as in my X18XE engine in my latest purchase. It is a far cry from the claimed figures that saturnz has been touting, sans avgas.

You must follow this thread better. I explained earlier... As soon as you add the M badge, the figure goes up to the claimed figure.

It is makes it un-insurable too. Or so we are led to believe by a computer box expert.

This is true. The ///Mighty ///M badge can do amazing things for any BMW.

Much like Exclusiv badges for VWs.
