You don't honestly think your Opel pulled away from the Porsche and S3 do you? :D

I showed you a clip, did I tell you what I think, or are you assuming you know what I think?

So Saturnz just committed insurance fraud? You can't be paid for a write-off and then sell it. If you sell it, it's not a write-off.

More and more of a smell of bull**** wafting out from this story

I committed insurance fraud?

The car is mine, it is economically unfeasible to repair in the eyes of the insurance company, so it is for all intents and purposes written off but the car is mine, still code 2.

If I were to give the papers to the insurance company and buy the car back from them, then it would be a code 3 car, but I didn't give it to them and why would I want to buy it back from them? We settled on a reasonable agreement like rational parties, and the agreement was they pay me a settlement figure and I keep the car.

If this sounds too difficult to believe I won't try and convince you otherwise.

But if it was that badly damaged that the company declared it a write-off and paid you out, who in their right mind would then buy it from you for even more than the pay out?
That doesn't add up.
It would mean someone thinks they can repair the car and still sell it for more than they paid you, which can't be possible if it was a right off.

Also, diid the insurance company see the video of the crash, I assume you didn't show them your other videos

Yes he drove into you when you braked hard to avoid crashing into the car on front of you.

As for the first comment, I'll explain it again.
You had an accident. The insurance company judged that it would cost more to pay for the repair of the car than it would cost to pay you out the insured value. They therefore paid out the insured value instead of paying for repairs.

You then sold the car to someone as is (you never mentioned if you had it repaired) for more than the insured amount you received.

So explain to me why someone would buy a car that was supposedly written off, for more than the amount the insurers paid you. They would still need to repair it.

So either your car is worth far far more than the insured amount or its not anywhere near a write-off and only required minimal repairs

Jesus Christ, what a dolt.

Tell us, what do you think? I think you made a fool of yourself, but that's just me, and a few others.

Oh, just the fact that you drive recklessly. Insurance might not have paid out, had they known that little fact.

And we still don't know whether you showed them the accident video, because you clearly cut in front of the guy. My guess is . . . NOT

LOL, hilarious, you do know my car was highly modified as well, and they took the car into their assessment center.

Believe what you want, how long was I driving infront the guy, did you count the seconds?

What does it matter if the car was highly modified?

I counted how long it took you before noticing the car in front of you was stopping (about 3 seconds) Does that count?

So you were insured for the car plus the modifications? Then it makes even less sense that you would sell a written off car for more than the insured amount.

I'm still trying to work out how the OP got from that video clip to accusing the other driver of using his cellphone while driving...

And I'm trying to work out how you can sell a written-off car for more than its insured value (plus insured mods)
