Pretty sure there are people in SA who see aliens and apparently met them, just that in USA, they get more coverage in media. There was the famous case in Zimbabwe which even a documentary was made on.

Pretty sure there are people in SA who see aliens and apparently met them, just that in USA, they get more coverage in media. There was the famous case in Zimbabwe which even a documentary was made on.
The first reported UFO crash wasn't in New Mexico but in Northern Italy in 1933, during the time Mussolini was prime minister.
Documents show the UFO was was seized by US Forces at the end of WW2 and sent to USA.

First time I am hearing of that one.
Actually this is the one from Zim I was referring to as well. I watched the documentary they made about it with the kids who apparently saw it when they were in primary school all grown up now and they still maintain it was the real deal.

Given the size of the universe I believe there must be life out there.

A light year is the distance light travels in one year.
Light would take 2000 of our years to reach a planet/system 2000 light years away. So anyone living in that system that had the technology to be able to view images to that level of detail, would see what our planet and/or system looked like locally 2000 years ago.
Similarly, when we look at Betelgeuse through telescopes, a star 700 light years away, what we are seeing is how that star actually was 700 years ago. It could supernova tomorrow and we would only see the light of that explosion in 700 years.

Yep agree with this. The universe is massive, for us to believe we're the only planet with life on it would be ignorant.

Nah, this happened at Ariel School in Zimbabwe which catered for upper-middle class/rich families. IIRC, when they did the doc, some of the now adults who were kids at that time now have Western accents which indicates they left Zim.

I think that they are talking rubbish.
You implied that they were poor with your "hunger" comment. By being able to immigrate, it indicates they are from well off backgrounds.

Yes I implied that they were power and rightly so, Being able to emigrate does not equate to being from a well of background......Lots of illegal migration taking place right now.
Even Boksburg has a fair share of UFO sightings.
