According to the article and Facebook comments the witnesses saw flying red and green lights. Nothing strange about the pink cloud.

Very possible it's camera glare though and a few people said it was a drone.

I also remember a thread where there were people who believe in the paranormal as well.

Aliens especially the USA packaged version, does not exist.

We more likely to find new lifeforms in the uncharted depths of our ocean than in space.

Actually this is the one from Zim I was referring to as well. I watched the documentary they made about it with the kids who apparently saw it when they were in primary school all grown up now and they still maintain it was the real deal.

Our gardener's daughter and several of her 12 year-old classmates were fortunate enough to see a real live mermaid in a dam. She was sitting on a rock combing her beautiful long hair. They called their teacher but the mermaid had disappeared under water by the time she arrived.

There may be microbial life in the solar system, some of Saturn's moons seem like good candidates for that. It is probably a while before they can confirm but I'm pretty confident that with the way tech is advancing, we may know within 100 years whether there is life in the solar system but not anytime soon.

There probably is intelligent life out there but we aren't coming to them and they aren't coming to us at least in our lifetime.

At best, we may receive a radio signal from them (if we are lucky) or they receive one of ours but even then, the signal is likely to have been generations old by the time each side receives it and it will take generations to beam a response, not to mention that complications that may arise in trying to decode a completely foreign language/code. As it is, we can't even decipher some languages on earth like the ancient ones and language spoken by the hostile tribe on North Sentinal Island.

I don't see any harm in finding life in the solar system because it's likely to be bacterial. It's also probable that it will be robots that interacts with it directly that makes it unlikely to bring foreign diseases.

Communicating with intelligent lifeforms brings whole issues (as it is, many of us can't even get along on Mybb) but even if we do, it's unlikely to be in real time. The aliens may have destroyed themselves by the time we receive their message.

Edit: We may have already received our first alien signal, the 1977 "wow signal" but it's undecipherable code and never been detected since. They've never been able to pin it to any earth location or mishap either.
