I don't know if this has been suggested here, tl;dr, but what if 'aliens' are just future versions of ourselves, i.e., humankind from some future that has managed to understand interstellar and time travel? Having been forced to evolve based on where they found themselves millennia from now.... Give me a publishing deal, I've got all the ideas :)

The idea isn't new. A number of whistleblowers have been saying future humans are visiting Earth. Bad news though - at some point humanity evolves into another humanoid species according to them. Makes sense because species adapt or die.

Well, it is right next to Nevada, which has that Area 51 place.

The situation has changed since that post though. Vermont is currently the top location for UFO encounters, as well as Washington, Montana and Alaska.

Ocean is a hotbed for USO's.

How else do objects plunge into or emerge from the sea without a splash. Okay, maybe not aliens, but most definitely non-human intelligence.

In a 40 year career at sea, this is the first I have heard of anything like this. I thought sailors were supposed to spread these rumours, but not one I knew has even remotely suggested this. And I have served with many nationalities, including US citizens.

Isn't it amazing how these things always seem to occur off the US coast?

As for Enigma's data, it paints a picture of persistent, widespread sightings along U.S. coasts, particularly near naval training zones and busy shipping routes. Whether coincidence or clue, it has renewed calls for deeper investigation.
