I think those "stats" propose that there is a probability that there might be some possible evidence to support the speculation that there might be alien life somewhere in the universe.

Can you just show use these stats already.
It's brilliant. Not edited. Do some research on it and how it is translated. One of the most accurate historical documents.
1:infinity
.
“It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the Universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole Universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.”
You tell us we don't understand stats.1:infinity
That's the ratio for the possibility to find live on other planets/moons/stars/asteroids/meteorites/whatever.
That's quite good. But not 100% accurate as we just happen to be in the very small space were there isn't Zero live by the sheer dumb luck that we are alive. If it wasn't for that we won't be having this conversation.Douglas Adams if far more entertaining than you...
We only have scientific evidence for 1(and we don't really know how that happened, just that it did) and an infinite amount of space. The idea that you would suggest 0 means you don't really understand the conversation. You tell us we don't understand stats.
I ask for some more info.
That's your answer?
By that logic the answer should be 0:infinity.
But it's not, there's an exception: life on earth.
So why does your ratio assume a value of 1? That's just making up a ratio to support your claim that the stats work in your favour. You still haven't pointed to any statistical work being done to arrive at your position. So please - explain the detailed statistics to us.

Well I've asked you for the statistics about 5 times now and you still haven't given them so yes - I have no idea what you're talking about. The idea that you would suggest 0 means you don't really understand the conversation.
Wrong. That's only the case if you know nothing about statistics or life.

The mere fact that we are here having this discussion is evidence to support that life exists in the universe. No need for possibles, speculations and probabilities.

Are you laughing about someone's dearly held book of fairytales? tut tut...

Exactly this. The mere fact that we are here having this discussion is evidence to support that life exists in the universe. No need for possibles, speculations and probabilities.
The probability of life in the universe is 1:infinity. That is the stats. And I've explained the logic behind itWell I've asked you for the statistics about 5 times now and you still haven't given them so yes - I have no idea what you're talking about.
Anyway.
The reason for suggesting a ratio of 0:infinity is that it seems more likely that nothing exists.
Yet something does exist.
So given that the ratio isn't 0:infinity, and given that the universe is a potentially infinite space - how do you arrive at your position of 1:infinity? That ratio is completely meaningless given that we have no idea how likely it is for life to occur multiple times in a potentially infinite space. You've just made up a ratio. That isn't stats, that's thumbsucking.
1.) You haven't explained anything. The probably of life in the universe is 1:infinity. That is the stats. And I've explained the logic behind it
It isn't made up we have one example of life so that is the 1.
1.) I don't know if aliens exist. You are the one trying to make up and thumbsuck aliens into existence.
