I took these pictures in 2007 in East London, just over Cove Rock. These objects were moving too slowly to be planes and it was cloudless. Late afternoon just before sunset.

Do I think there is life on other planets? I think it's entirely possible. With so many potentially suitable planets out there the odds of life springing up someone else seem good to me.

Do I think they come to Earth to molest cows and farmers in the Midwest of the United States? Nope.

A bit unclear, the images. But that seems always to be the case. Your theory?

I once, with other members of the family, saw a light emitting object do a right angled turn in the sky above me. Impossible of course, for things we know. The time scale was the time when the Sputnik was visible from the ground. We saw the Sputnik later, and we were clear that whatever we saw (the object that did the abrupt turn) was not the Sputnik. The reason we saw this phenomon was because we were out looking for the Sputnik. I have no firm opinions as to what it was. At that time my eyesight was excellent, way beyond average.

When I lived in Todmorden in West Yorks, high up by UK standards at 1000 ft., we (ourselves and neighbours) saw Unidentified Flying Objects quite regularly. We put it down to the absence of light pollution. The RAF did fly in the area regularly, very fast but usually below us in the valley. The UFOs were not likely to be confused with the RAF aircraft to our minds, but that assumes they were known RAF aircraft. The period was 1974 to 1984. They were definitely UFOs in that we did not identify them, but that does not mean they were alien.

I do believe that alien beings could exist, but I do not believe positively that they do exist. The statistical argument previously advanced is compelling, but the nature of infinity is a subject of debate. So I am a 'don't know'. Time to re read 'A Brief History of Time' by Stephen Hawking! But note that he changed mind about some issues. I remember that he was reported as having done so, but not the substance of his change of mind. Internet searches have not given me a result so far.
 
I've always believed aliens exist, long before I took those pics. I've seen several UFOs when I was in the army In South West Africa where I was in the middle of the bush with no light pollution too.
When I was a kid I used to track satelites. I had a notebook with times and directions written down and would make notes if I saw a new one and would confirm it if I saw it again at a specific time thereby verifying a pattern. But satelites and shooting stars have known characteristics.
The other UFOs I have seen do not behave in such a manner, changing direction and speed at incredible rates, basically bending the laws of physics. The pics I took, I'm not so sure about, they could be planes. What was strange is the that it was dead silent. Now an aircraft makes noise, even a small propeller driven craft can be head from a distance.
Also if you look at events like Roswell and Aurora, Texas , one has to admit something is going on.
 
I believe that humans are not the only intelligent life in the universe.

I don't know where such life is located nor the extent of their technological sophistication.

I'd like to think that humans will eventually meet such life and form a mutually beneficial and peaceful relationship.

While I normally smile a wee bit condescendingly at those who say "aliens" do not exist, I msut say you have taken it to another level.

Why do you say "there will never be"? This be funny.

Because it is fiction that you only get in movies and books. Anyways, I enjoy science fiction so continue looking. So far the results are pretty disappointing.....

Yes, in our hundred years or so of actually looking. With extremely limited technology. In a universe billions of years old.

But, you still haven't presented a case while "there will never be".

Seeing as its agreed by your fraternity that the last "spoken word" (hahaha) was 2000 years or so ago, how are you so arrogant as to presume what your creator has done (or rather, not done) in the meantime - or will do so in the future?
