Desktop is Intel and the laptop runs on AMD. Wouldn't mind having both AMD or Intel as I'm not much of a brand fan boy,just want something cost efficient that does the job.

The chiller in my post is poking fun at Intel's 28-core thingymabob. My R7 1700 consumes fairly low amounts of power when overclocked to 3.9GHz, and I still don't get to hear the Antec's fans kick in. There's not much to write home about aside from the fact that everything just works and I don't have to fiddle with anything.

For what it cost compared to the Xeons it was a steal. And I use it to it's full potential often.
