Do you have job satisfation

I hate it.... hate retail, hate the customers, Hate the thiefing workers, Hate the unions, hate my partners...... Hate! Hate! Hate!


on the other hand , it is nice to be my own boss.... but I want to sell everything and buy a yacht and live on the world's oceans, but Head Office won't budge...
 
Not currently.
But there are reasons for this and it's not like I hate my job.

Currently a Process Engineer.
Much prefer being back in Design though.
But that had it's own issues.
 
3 years ago, I would have given a resounding yes....

Now, not so much... too much politics etc going on, and it kills the vibe in the company.
 
I hate my job, wake up depro every morning. It's the position I am in, it's not very challenging and find myself bored a lot of the day.

Trying to look for another job but no luck thus far.

Very happy. I work as a software developer and research scientist. Nearly 3 years into the current job - previous 3 jobs were cool too.

For those who are unhappy, my suggestion is to put yourselves out there (linkedin, monster, upload CVs to local and international job sites, personal web site, etc.), I have been consistently surprised at what's shown up - I've never actually applied to any of the jobs I've had, I've always had the company or recruiter contact me with opportunities I never even knew existed. Obviously, these were filtered from a whole bunch of clearly mismatched job interview requests, but I would say it is definitely worth the effort (actually, even if you are reasonably satisfied).
 
5 months ago I would have said nope hate every moment of it. That was being an IT Tech dude for a small company. Now though I am a iOS developer and look forward to every day. Constantly challenged and always learning! Love what I do and have no issues getting out of bed in the mornings (Unless it's *** cold!! )

If there is anything I've learned in my career is that you never move for money alone, but also for the challenge of the job and the people you will be working with.

Currently. Doing two jobs. One that is the 8-5 and other one is 1-2 times a week in the evenings. I don't need to 2nd job, but it is a personal passion to give back my knowledge to those that are willing to learn.

Lecturing post-grad elective. It is hard work prepping for class and some weekends are spend doing it. But it is great to give back what I know. I'm incredibly strong believer that with good education you are be able to grow a country. And we as skilled workers tend not to give back our knowledge and experience to the next generation.
