I think you can add the option, occasional smoker. Like I dont smoke for the majority of the month, then if the braai gets to a certain point I would occasionally join the smokers and "stook" a few out.

We’re legends, dude. Guys like you and me. When I see someone who’s addicted to smoking, I let them know how easy it is for me to dip in and out without getting hooked. Then I tell them that I have far superior willpower to them.
You mean, you're the cigarette bums and the reason smokers need to run to the shop more often?

Well considering how many double-cab bakkies have intoxicated drivers in them without number plates I would say yea... I better smoke... Imagine if I gave into road-rage instead? The driver of said double-cab bakkie that is officially worse than any taxi driver might end up having to remove said bakkie from his rectum and that will just be a bad day for the both of us. So I smoke for the safety of all intoxicated double-cab bakkie drivers... you can thank me later.:ROFL::ROFL:

Only vape now. Used to smoke 20 ro 40 Stuyvesant red a day

I've been a smoker for more than half my life.

Only cigarettes though. The last time I smoked weed, the only thing I wanted more than anything was to get unhigh.

In my effort to achieve the above I knocked back a few whiskeys and ended up getting so drunk, I fell into a fire. This was on a camping trip.

Never touched the herb again!

Do you smoke?
Too vague and therefore not possible to answer.

I smoke every time we have load shedding, every time another govt department buggers me around, every time something else that used to work messes my life up. The smoke pours out of my ears all the time. So, based on this I have to answer yes.

But if you mean smoke tobacco, then no I don't.

Smokers are worse than Scientology pushers. I've never bought cigarettes never asked anyone for a cigarette but them cancer stick pushers have had me smoking like a chimney in my younger days more than I care to admit.

It was the cigarette companies that came up with the narrative that it’s too hard to quit. Think about that. It’s a brilliant strategy.
In reality it’s very easy. Takes a few days

Pretty sure it's different for different people. It's completely non-addictive to me, and I guess to you too. But if it just takes a few days, you wouldn't get people who quit for a month or a few months and then start again.

Depends on your mindset.

If you realise that smoking has absolutely no benefit then it is actually easy to stop.

The problem is most people who stop thinks they are deprived of something and that is why it is so difficult.

I know less and less people that smoke, in fact, I have to think hard to even list 2.

Feels like it has become un-cool to smoke, and even cooler not to

It's enjoyable. There's plenty of things that in isolation have no apparent benefit (beer, cigarettes, KFC, having kids, doing a BA) but you do them because you want to enrich your life and you enjoy the experience.
