Been vaping since January.

Gone from 3 to 4 packs a day to 18mg/ml juices and worked my way down to 3mg/ml juices.

Smell of cigarettes is still appealing but if I were to smoke a tobacco product again it would be a cigar.
How do you go from tobacco to fruity loops?

Pretty sure it's different for different people. It's completely non-addictive to me, and I guess to you too. But if it just takes a few days, you wouldn't get people who quit for a month or a few months and then start again.
It's all about willpower. There are very few substances that when one is addicted to them, become life threatening to stop cold turkey. Nicotine isnt one of them. If a lifelong smoker was dropped on an island with zero chance of getting anything, it would be a few days of basic anxiety and from there the rest is all mental association with it. It's actually far far more difficult to quit caffeine for instance.
But, as with anything, there has to be the power of will involved. The cigarette companies have conditioned people to believe it's 'impossible' to stop.
I personally enjoy nicotine. It's a great drug, along with caffeine. They combine well and it's something I've personally always enjoyed. My delivery mechanism has changed over the years, but it's simple enough to stop when needed.

High Wattage vape and coils with high content nicotine flavoured nicotine was my start.

I'm 45 and smoke a pack a day since 18 (quit a few times in-between, once for 2 years, then 6 months, then 3 months, then 3 weeks, then **** it), but every time I try the disposable salted vape, they only have crappy fruit loop toothpaste flavours.

The disposable stuff is not the way to go.

Get a proper mod that can hit at least 80W and a proper atomiser that can reach around the same.

Then get someone to mix your juices for you because most of the stuff you can buy is under 18mg/ml and you are going to want to start around there.

I stopped cigarettes because after using a proper vape I could no longer taste the cigarettes or get that throat hit.

Depends on your mindset.

If you realise that smoking has absolutely no benefit then it is actually easy to stop.

The problem is most people who stop thinks they are deprived of something and that is why it is so difficult.
I found it was mostly a habit, for example when fishing and waiting for a bite I would literally chain smoke, when I quit I replaced smokes with sweets and chewing gum, thankfully now I just sit and chill no need for anything.

I smoked for several years, then I went for hypnosis to quit. Not sure if that worked, so I asked my Dr for the best thing available and was given Champix (Varenicline) (a smoking cessation medicine). This made me nauseous for a while, but after 1.5 months of Champix, I was done.

I think you can add the option, occasional smoker. Like I dont smoke for the majority of the month, then if the braai gets to a certain point I would occasionally join the smokers and "stook" a few out.
Then, technically, you smoke...

Never have, never will. Put off by the horrible smell.

No I don't smoke.

TBH, don't really understand it either. Not for lack of experimenting.

But each to their own.

Why do you want to go to fruity loops. Plenty of tobacco juices available. In fact I am sure when vaping started you could only get tobacco juices.

I've used a one tobacco type juice since the day I started, what six, seven years ago ?

Have no inclination to even try candyfloss and pistachio flavour for some reason.

no never have, best decision in my young life.

why it was ever popular or cool, is beyond me.
From time to time, I watch 70s and 80s films. There is plenty of smoking. That can influence culture, class, fashion and style. I still cannot believe that smoking was allowed on passenger airlines

I suppose in years to come my kids wont believe the amount of alcohol advertisement on billboards, soapies, music videos, sports, etc.

I now thirsty for a Heineken (thanks to F1 and the recent Dutch GP)
