Ours is a hybrid model - we have to fulfil 10 days a month at the office - I kinda like this arrangement, would have preferred a total WFH arrangement but some people need baby sitting

Been working from home since Covid, then company decided to reverse that decision, I decided to resign and go work for a company that has a hybrid model, just finished my probation (today woohoo :D) and will be working from home 3 days a week come next week

Work at office.

Pros:
When I leave office I am done for the day.
My family dont disturb me at 15h30 when my wife and daughter arrived home.

Cons: traffic. Increase fuel costs. My wife have to iron my clothes (trousers and shirts).
Lunches are now mainly sandwiches, whereas at home, I could cook something different during my hour lunch.
Loss of time.

Do you feel like the 10 days makes sense?

I feel those arbitrary "fulfil x days in the office" rules might be a bit meaningless.

I haven't worked in the office since 2020.

I changed jobs last year and started working hybrid, 3 days in the office, this after working from home for about 5 years. It was a challenge but I adapted and dont regret my decision.

There are rumors that someone higher up is moaning about the empty office, but I dont think much will come of it.

Hybrid but only go in when I feel the need.

I try once a week but thats my personal rule. We are encouraged to come in to the office but so many people are very far away from the office so im possible to enforce.
The people who come in regularly are the ones who live close.

been wFH since covid

go once into office every 2-3 months and that also when i need to

we dont have space for support staff at office, net is kark, i spend 90% of the day talking kark to people having smoke breaks and taking a leka lunch

WFH is the better option for us and we havnt been asked to come into office at all

there is nothing fun about office life and productivity is low ..sadly people are forced to be more productive at home cos there isnt a shut off

Every single person I know, most in banking and telecommunications and insurance, with the exception of 1, who works in admin for a mining company, is back at the office.
