Used to have a maid.... Till I installed a camera inside the house.

The things we saw her do were outrageous but not bad enough to fire her, things like rubbing our face creams and lotions on her ass etc....

We had a break in and after watching the footage it was obvious these guys knew what was kept where and where not to bother to look etc.

She was history soon after and will never be replaced

Most irons generate steam these days... they have now for decades... but you still have to actually do the ironing.

Yeah paltry steam with a very tiny water tank and different settings for different clothes, all stuff that just wastes your time. Whereas my steam generating iron has 190 g of continuous steam with a very big water tank and zero settings I have to muck about. So you still have to iron but it's much, much faster.

Same here. We share the cooking, washing dishes and cleaning duties. I do not iron. So I do the laundry and my wife will iron. It works well and we have been married for over 21 years

Maid once a week. Gardener once a week.
I do fuxall around the house, just basically pack the dishwasher.
 
I wouldn't mind doing it myself but I just cant keep up with it at the moment. Not unless someone wants to marry my ugly ass and help.

Thought I was a bit of a manky bugger for not washing jeans regularly. :laugh: Mostly cause they are more comfortable that way.
Still wear through the knees and butt unfortunately.
 
Our maid has been with us for 32 years. She needs the money anyway and is honest. I don't begrudge the food she eats. My wife buys her food for her family anyway
