For personal email, nope... mostly because I prefer to keep it online and available from anywhere...

No - it's bloated and gets slow.

Not anymore. I've loved Outlook the last 2 years or so. Since changing all my email accounts to cloud-based (at least, those that weren't already) and not needing to import ancient .ost data files, Outlook 365 is really snappy. Even if it wasn't quite so fast, it's not like there's any serious competition available.

If you really can't stand Outlook, give Mailbird a try. Lifetime licenses can almost always be had for around $10-15.
