Are we talking about Outlook as the program or the email service at outlook.com? Either way I use both for work and personal email now (although I do still have a Gmail account that I use too). I just like the easy integration with Cortana and Skype which I use all the time.

Why don't I use Outlook?? Because it's bloatware that runs like a dog and chews machine resources like nothing else, it renders html email using Word's html engine which dates back to prehistory and don't get me started on it's indexing and filtering inefficiency when you have anything more than a few hundred emails.

Exactly why I do not install MS Office in my machine. I'll use it online instead.

I think it might have been a while since you used Outlook...

Nope. Use it daily for testing. 2016 was definitely an improvement, I will admit, but it's still resource intensive and still have indexing/performance issues with large pst files, etc.

nk2 files for contacts. Please. FFS just use the address book. Migrating nk2 files, merging them, editing them, is just a pain. This is 2018, not 1998.

Edit: I see that from office 2013 they are no longer used. But still a pain when migrating old outlook files.

Large PSTs in 2018? Get G Suite or 365 Business Premium and upload it all. All my accounts are now cloud-based and it makes a noticeable difference to performance. Not to mention my peace of mind.

Thanks, local store and backup of my email works better for my peace of mind. Each to his own, I guess.

I was content after upgrading to OUTLOOK 2013, so I readily bought OUTLOOK 2016 when it became available. Even after months of using it continues to irk me. The horrible blue top ribbon with light white wording being just one of the many, and the package is almost double the price.

You can change the colour. :D I use the Dark grey office theme.

If you are still using PST files in 2018, you want to struggle. :p
