/yes, I’m expecting all the double entendres.

On a recent episode of 90 Day Fiance, Natalie (from the Ukraine) was washing eggs before use which Mike (American) found perplexing.

Natalie : In my country we wash eggs.
Mike : Over here we don’t.

I’ve always washed eggs before use but this got me searching for more info. Apparently eggs have a protective membrane (cuticle) over the shell which is why they can be kept unrefrigerated. In countries like the US, eggs are pre-washed, which removes this membrane and thus need to be kept refrigerated to prevent contamination.

Some sources do not recommend washing eggs before use since eggs are porous and washing them can end up pushing bacteria into the eggs.

Do you wash your eggs or crack them straight out of the carton?

You actually shouldn't. Also I know in the USA most eggs in supermarkets are washed and refrigerated before you buy. Whish is stupid.

Hmm, don't eggs come out of a chickens shytehole?

Chicks only have one hole, the cloaca. Three in the pink.

Wait
Wash the egg, as in eggshells?
And then open an egg and get the egg out and then toss the shell away?

That's like me putting on an FL and then sanitizing my FL on pecker before I naai the hooker, What exactly am I missing here on this thread?
