Blitzed: Nazis On Drugs (WW2 Documentary) | History Documentary | Reel Truth History

In 1938 a drug called Pervitin was created in Nazi Germany. This stimulant was a methamphetamine based pill, was available in every pharmacy and didn’t require a prescription. This drug was distributed to German soldiers during the course of WW2 and Hitler was no exception to these drug highs receiving drug cocktails from his personal physical Theodor Morell. This film explores the use of drugs in WW2 and looks at the potential effects that drugs could have had on Hitler, soldiers and the war itself.

Any new, good documentaties?
Country Music (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9708550/) is on ATM. Great, great series. I'm on episode 3 where Blue Grass is coming in. Just before rock. Each episode is just under 2 hours.

If you have ever watched that George Clooney movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? you will be fascinated by how it was almost a documentary. Right down to Pappy O'Daniels.

^ Yup, great documentary.

Edit: That voice-over explaining the contents of the photo/scenes is a bit weird.

Also Hard Knocks (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446622/) for all you football fans. very insightful on how pre season works. This year was about the Raiders. See the lead up to AB getting released by the Raiders and the next week the Patriots. What a chop. Way to throw away US$30 million.

Man this is a fantastic series.

I have learnt so much.

Country is not my first love, but I can't get the next episode going fast enough.
