In the past when LCD was still expensive I dealt a lot with CRT monitors. After accumulating a few "not economically repairable" a.k.a write-off monitors I decided to get creative with them. Rather than smashing up these poor defenseless peripherals I thought that they should RIP. Take one peppertree, a lot of rope and a couple of dead screens and this is what you get.

Left is a Cornerstone 20" monochrome, top middle is a Mecer 14" colour VGA and right is 7" monochrome LCD

Anyone else has "weird" ways of dealing with defunct hardware ? (Like blending it :D)

Now just add signs to each of them saying "Shot number 1", "Shot number 2" and get a fake skeleton hanging as well. You will never be burgled. But your neighbours will know you're a geek...:D
 
Resurrection of the 5 year old monitor tree thread. Who else has a grown monitor tree since?
 
Yoh. Knock the glass out, and put candles inside for a spooky tree.
 
Personally i would have blown them up with some homemade explosives:)
