The test is from the creators of Firefox, Mozilla, so dont think they give IE9 preferential treatment. I'm also gonna download Firefox 4 beta and run the test again.

Win 7 Ultimate;

FF 3.6.7 = 15 FPS
Chrome 6.0.472.63 = 3 FPS
Safari 5.0.2 = 3 FPS

I'm guessing that Chrome and Safari have no H/W acceleration.
