How do u program a new remote into a dominator garage door. There is no model number on the motor, and I kind of cleared all remotes. Please assist. Below is the pic of the motor

Remote programming 1) Press “code” and release. “.” Will display. 2) Press the remote button you want programmed twice. 3) Repeat steps one and two for additional remotes.

It appears as if the limits need to be set?

On the limit setting instructions, does "Engage your motor" mean I have to use the remote to open the garage?
If thats the case, I am screwed because non of the remotes are working at the moment.

The door should be engaged with the motor, in other words, the manual override should not be active.
I don't think you need the remote for the limit settings. I do not know this brand but I would imagine that the initial setup is done via the buttons on the motor and then the remote programming.

Should be a button inside to run the door as well.

I dont want to open it as of now, I was trying to help and I screwed up, dont want to screw-up more.
I read it wrong. @lkswan747 was right, manual says "Engage door to motor" which means it should be connected to the garage door.

I’m surprised you can code remotes without even opening the unit.

I have a ET Blue at my house and I can code without opening the unit as well.

Also have an ET Blue and pretty sure I need to access the internals to do that.

But never needed to so don’t know for sure, but did briefly read the manual.

I don't know why this guy bought this stupid dominator motor, literally no info available online.

It's like dstv, you need the authorise installer. But somewhere you will get the info. How did you cleared the remotes.
I was trying different things. I pressed the code button too long and it displayed DL which I am now assuming was delete
