Drugs is an enormous problem today. Tik especially. I heard it is so highly addictive you are hooked after the first puff?

One of the major causes of the poor discipline and control in classrooms is the size of them. 45 children in a class is too much for one person to control.

It is poor parenting ... 40 kids to a class, lazy govt employed teachers and mediocre education system was no better in my days but we worked hard with what we had no thanks to our parents.

Corporal punishment: yes. Even for adults! No short prison sentences, but a good hiding! Would solve a lot of petty crime issues!

Capital punishment: no! Unless you really trust the law, which I don't! The guy with the highest paid attorney normally wins, doesn't he? :rolleyes:

Only just the majority too. The Nats were as bad as the ANC at arranging voter districts to maximise their seats. So they always had a greater proportion of seats than their vote majority proportion. Bastards.
 
My parents never voted Nat. In fact they were DP volunteers
