Glad you are finally getting sorted out. Is Person threatening you with action over slander or libel? If so, he can only make a case for slander or libel if what you have said or written is false. If you have spoken the truth there is no case.

I wish I could say the same. I haven't heard a peep from Brian since Friday.

But, like I said, he has until end of day on Monday to get my new card to me and give my money back, or I'm going to the police.

And no that's not a threat Brian, it's a fcking promise.

Indeed, that's like going back to Telkom [after you canceled all lines/connections due to bad service and costs] and thinking you will mysteriously get better service now ....just a little naive there. Besides Pc Retail is pretty much a free-for-all, if one bloke goes down there are 50 others ready to take his place [and hopefully LEARNING from the previous bloke going down].

That's the problem with a one-man show , easy to replace ;) . A large national company, on the other hand is not as easy to replace . Just getting on the same level as say Incredible Connection can take years [in terms of shops etc]....replacing a one-man show , probably a weekend is sufficient.

You do realise you have destroyed your own companies name? By providing the service you did and treating your customers the way you did you have basically made sure nobody from this forum will buy from you again.

100% agreed! This and all the other forums where he has neglected customers resulting in them dragging his name through the mud.

What I find REALLY find amusing though is:

Does he really honestly think there is ANYTHING he can do? Bad news dude - if you are in the wrong there is ABSOLUTELY nothing you can do! No use threatening legal action as no-one except you has actually done anything wrong.

BTW - he has been asking for his money back from way before the 9th of June when you finally replied. No use getting cross now because you have FINALLY replied. You ignored customers for a long time before that!

I have seen nothing that could be held to be defamatory. Defamation implies unlawfulness, and what we have seen here could be termed "fair comment" or "truth for the public benefit", which are quite lawful - in fact quite altruistic too!

So kindly shove your empty threats where the sun don't shine, pal, and take a hike!

Person did you even read THIS post ? If so why are you still claiming to be a "SOLE DISTRIBUTOR" for Alienware :confused: If anyone should be taking legal action I'm thinking it should be Alienware?
