What pathetic service and a truely unprofessional business attitude. I think this thread should be "stickied" to warn any potential future buyers.

I am rather shocked, considering Person's professions of excellence in all his other posts.
Terrible attitude, pathetic excuses..

Now where have we all read this before, Does Dot computers make sales of out of stock equipment and once he receives the money he orders onto suppliers just to find that they do not have stock and have to wait for the supplier stock to arrive: That is what it seems and we saw all this before! No good Person, sorry, not only do you have a customer waiting for paid goods not received, but you keep business away from others here that could have supplied promptly. Then by not to respond and then tell customer to wait? that's bad. Also the untruths can backfire on you! Where is the other employees that supported you in the past or are you the sole owner and supplier. Problems do happen but this seems to become a trend!

If you need a partner that can run a business PM me!

Just to let you know that there's no one at dotcomputers anyway. I mail you don't get an answer, you phone and no ones there. I still have not been contacted yet with a follow up.

To think this all could have been avoided if person didn't do some avoiding of himself. It's true though, that when I did manage to track him down he said he was busy with stuff. Hmmm, makes you wander very much. And how well can you run a place in the US if you want to micro manage as much person does. Exactly like .geek puts it, "one-man hoax."

I was thinking that if bird messaging was still around I might get answers quicker than I get now person. Not that I get any at all :(

Disagree, there is a lot of one man businesses out there, but then if you are not available for any reason at all, actions have to be taken to make sure of continuation and for a month leave of action all business are concluded and or the customer know where he stands and have the option of getting his money back before departure! Bottom line is to only sell stock item of suppliers! A on line business should keep stock himself not claim supplier stock is his. I can call now, check there is 100 of say a specific Mboard is available in stock and 20 minutes later on calling the supplier it is gone! Then I will call back, offer an alternate or just cancel the order!

Well now, I'm obviously not the only one who will never deal with dotcomputers/person again.
For great service give Sybaritic a go. I've never had any problems with them and prices are great as well.

I am not saying a one man business cannot work, I am saying that dot computers is acting that way (I stand to be corrected, as I have no idea how many staff there are).

:)

I simply said that as incubate said he couldn't get hold of ANYONE there.

Has anyone else bought from Sybaritic? There site looks like a warez site. Although the prices look good. The site also doesn't seem to have too much information about them. Like delivery etc.

I've ordered from them a few times - no problems. Quite good service actually.
