I mean honestly, he's tried contacting Brian for ages now and he's just ignoring him, what do you expect him to do? It's the only thing within his power he can do short of trying legal action.

i don't really care anymore I'm also p*ssed off with persons service, i could've saved so much on the new system i wanted and after this I'm just gonna have to save until everyones PCs are just gonna kick myne's (donkey) again

Warning: This is a rant.

Well dammit!

My graphics card, you know, the one that I spent an entire week driving the whole myadsl community insane over? Has konked! It's broken!

It goes all Matrix-y on me as soon as Windows loads and now it's just... dead.

Oh, but it gets better.

So I try to phone dear old Person, and I get this terrible pre-recorded voice telling me to leave a message, which I do.

Nothing. No callback as the robot voice promised.

Next day I try again, but this time I can't leave a message, because the voice mailbox is full.

So I resort to emailing Person. This time he replies, telling me that he's MOVED TO THE US!!!

It is now four days later and I still don't have a new graphics card AND the refund that he was supposed to give me THREE MONTHS ago, is still not in my account.

I'm furious! I'm on the verge of pressing some kind of charge against Person.

This is absolutely ridiculous!!!
 
Really can't see how he is going to support SA customers from the US.
 
Eish, this is horrible service, dont understand why is he spoiling his name so bad
 
I was going to order a 20 inch Ferrari monitor next month, now with all the bad post im not so sure whether too or not

a) Get a new graphics card
b) Refund

Now that is why I support the dodgy and rather grumpy poor english speaking Chinese folks at Cafe Java rather than a S.A guy running a business from his bedroom.
 
I have to agree with you tibby. This seems pretty awful doesn't it? We really need to start a list of disreputable online shops. Clearly it's far too easy to screw people.

lilDeath, you're right. That's why I posted this here, to let everyone know about my experience - just as I did when I originally bought the card.

I'll keep everyone updated with the "progress", if any.

I am just curious, did he tell you what to do (or he is going to do) to sort out the card, or he just told you that he is in US and bad luck kind of thing?
 
TheYak... you E-mailed me once, and by the time I received it - SA was 7pm. I have forwarded it to the South African sales team.

Huh :confused: So what if it was 7PM? Also now you have a so-called "sales team" won't they mind picking up the phone for your clients?
