I am following this closely and want to know what is happening wrt incubate's situation

Atrocious business practice so far fom Person :(
 
One day people are going to realise that customers should be priority number one. Person should have handled this professionally, not with some half-arsed "It was 7pm" crap.

HE should have contacted this benjamin bloke and ensured your treatment would be better.

Hint: Customers don't need you person... you need them!

TheYak, I think the best way to get your card replaced would be to call Legend directly. I had a problem with my card which I bought at digital planet, and for some reason the woman gave the number of Legend and said I must speak to them. Legend said they dont deal directly with end-users at all, and digital planet is supposed to sort it out (which they eventually did after about a week :mad:) but if they cant, they'll be able to organize that they'll swap it out for me.

So try and get their number (sorry, i lost the one i had) and call Legend directly and explain to them that dotcomputers cant seem to help.
 
What I want to to know is that if Brian is so notorious for this kind of thing, why haven't more people come forward and more importantly, why hasn't he been closed down?

Has anyone else bought from Sybaritic? There site looks like a warez site. Although the prices look good. The site also doesn't seem to have too much information about them. Like delivery etc.

I used Sybaritic many times , always got great service. As someone mentioned, they do the whole email+sms update everytime status change of an order [including sms'ing the tracking numbers etc] , so you know exactly what's going on. In fact, they actually CONFIRM STOCK before you transfer the cash. [i.e i place order, they check stock, and tell me they got stock and then i pay] . ...and their prices are good.

I think he means when Brian is back in Boston (New Jersey closer to New York). Surely this is going in a bit of a circle? Brian said to call the local sales office and they say they need to contact him!
 
I think the local sales office and brian are one in the same. So what Brian really means when he says to contact someone else, is actually to piss off and leave him alone while he thinks of an excuse he can give the next time you try and contact him.
 
The question must be asked why he is in New York anyway. None of the main suppliers (i.e. ATI; AMD; Intel etc) or retailers (Newegg) have their main offices in New York anyway.
 
He's actually in Boston, I suppose at least he's on the east coast so he can organise shipping to SA from there relatively easily. And it won't be a problem getting stuff to Boston itself.

Anyway, back on topic: I find it disgusting that Person hasn't even bothered to apologise for this, I mean how fcking stupid is he? Even if he actually doesn't give a crap about incubate, there's no reason not to at least give the fake impression of caring as decent business ppl know to do. It's business 101, the only explanation is that Person is fcking ignorant and dumb.

I was on msn last night and so was Brian so I contacted him. This is what he said (I'm Froogle):
