Yeah, got the same message from them today.Axxess debited my CC on the 1st, but the transaction failed. It shows up as an "uncleared" amount. I tried paying them today, but the same thing happened, so now my bank is withholding 2 x the amount for at least 5 business days.
There is no way that I'm going to pay them until my bank releases the money. They'll have to wait until Thursday/Friday.

I left Axxess years ago when still an ADSL customer due to their shocking customer service.So, Axxess is threatening to disconnect my services today. I've tried to explain my situation to them, (R1071 X 2) being held back by my bank as "uncleared". My bank hasn't released my money yet, so I can't afford to pay them.
I was so disgusted by their reply that I just ignored it.
This is the reply I got:

The payment was denied, you have R1071 outstanding in your account.

We are currently in the process of refunding our affected clients, we are however unsure as to how long it will take for all affected clients to be refunded, and we therefore cannot provide a specific time as to when yours will be refunded.
Again, we truly apologize and are working on resolving this matter as soon as possible.

So the bastards cut off my internet. Unfortunately, I have all my "eggs in one basket" with Axxess. After this little incident, all of that is going to change. It is stupid to use one provider for all of your connectivity. I'm learning that the hard way.
Will your people whose job it is to follow up with late payments take a chill pill for a few days and not bother people like adrianx until the issue has been resolved?
