Downloads not completing

OK, so I had my new line installed yesterday and I thought all was well until I started downloading stuff.

First was Openelec (from my main win 7 machine) and it downloads like halfway and then just stops. I tried it a few time and also some other downloads in both FF and Chrome and all do the same. Small downloads are doing fine (sub 100 meg).

So there's either something wrong with my line or a my router isn't configured properly.

Any ideas?

Try 3rd party programs such as DAP 10 or Orbit Downloader

If above still doesn't yield anything positive, give us an indication of what iSP and line speed stats from your router page. A member on here will tell you if those stats are good or not (i will try to indicate aswell).

IF you are in JHB / CTP area and using Ti then there is an upgrade to equipment that will either be done this weekend or the next in JHB and the week following for CTP. Only applies if on Ti. Things smooth around after 22:00 and will be like that until the equipment are all put in place.
