DSTV Drifta - Wifi Access Point

Does anyone know if the DSTv Drifta can be used as a wifi access point? Let me clarify, not to be used to surf the internet but to connect 2 or more iPads/iPods/iPhones so that one can for instance play multiplayer "Need for Speed Hot Pursuit".

I do not have a Drifta yet but I would think it is highly unlikely.

Drifta isn't a network device other than receiving DSTV signal.

Okay, I have now confirmed that the Drifta can be used as an access point.

REMEMBER this does not mean access to the internet.

INSTEAD it means if you want to play a iPod/iPhone/iPad wifi game, you can use this device to facilitate as a wifi access point.

I have tried this on my friends device, works wonders when you are in the back seat of the car and away from a wifi network.
