Hi there

Does anybody know if its possible to buy a multi-core coaxial (RG6) cable?

The reason I ask is that to install DSTV Explora with Xtraview will require up to 7 coaxial cables:
(7 coaxial cables make your home look like you are running a Google server!)

2x from LNB to DSTV Explora decoder
2x from LNB to DSTV Xtraview decoder
1x from DSTV Explora to Xtraview for the "heartbeat" link.

If a multi-core (3 cores to start), means you would be able to connect all the devices together with a single cable (and a splitter).

Any suggestions?

Replace your LNB with one that has unicable outputs.

you will then need only 1 unicable from LNB to explorer, 1 to second decoder and 1 between the two for heartbeat.

Get the new smart lnb it's about r400 at space tv, one cable from the lnb to the explora, one from legacy port to the other decoder and one between the two.

You do get twin cable only the suppliers don't always have stock. Just watch some have a thin twin cable that requires special connectors.
