Hi Guys,
So I decided to spoil myself for Father's day. I live in a complex and have spent the whole day trying to get it to work without success. I am battling to get past Step 3 of setup (signal issues). I bought a switch and connected VL/ HL to Sat 1 & 2 and onto Unicable on the decoder but the setup screen still shows that it doesn't have signal. The switch's "Status" LED light is blue though. Any help would be appreciated.

So...after posting on here I decided to get my toolbox and ripped out the Connectors from the wall socket. Found that SAT 2 cable was not connected onto the socket. Good news is...she is alive and working now. "No excuse to go watch World Cup @ the pub tomorrow".

I find it's best to stick to accredited installers. The ridiculous crap I've seen my 'guy' deal with is crazy. I'd never have stood a chance. Cables that need updating, Xtraview needing the link broken before disconnecting, bigger dish being needed, heartbeat issues, some HDMI cables working and others not etc. etc. He's usually seen it all and can quickly move between likely issues, and is also aware of what things don't work when they're supposed to.

Are you using a Smart LNB cable and an 80cm dish?
