DSTV HD-TV on track

Oh and will the channels be 1080 or 720?

I'm only gonna fork out for 1080HD and good channels

Hmm, from my PVR I have the signal going out to a wall socket (which has a female connector like that which accepts feed from the satelitte. Then all the other rooms receive signal through the analog input of the TV. How will this affect my setup?

Dish --> PVR --> Wall Socket --> Other rooms --> TV (Analog)

Last night I submitted the following questions to DSTV (via the company's website). I have yet to get a response. If anyone knows the answers to these questions, please would you post them?

1. When will high-definition DSTV decoders become available for retail?

2. What output standards (i.e. video/audio electrical standards) will these decoders support?

3. Will the decoders support HDMI?

It will be 720p
It will use hdmi.
You are required to have HDCP tv. If not it won't work.
They said they might consider not encrypting the sports broadcasts.
