Hi Jopie
Where/how can I get the History channel?
Thanks
Chris
Well also expect more cancellations because of it. It seems to have entered the downward spiral. I'm actually surprised hoe many people are upset by it, mostly the history channel. Didn't think so many people watch these channels regularly. This is probably as a result of no increases this year. Profit demands dont change, so something had to give. Expect more of this

Wow , had a look at the link you sent. Very good.Yes, much better shows on Youtube. "The Great War" channel for example, 1000% better than anything I've seen on The History channel for as long as I've been watching The History Channel, and it's free to watch.
I love Ancient Aliens. In some countries Ancient Aliens is huuge. Not sure about SA though.
Think it's a load of bollocks myself, but do watch it on now and again if it happens to be on just to see what the other side is up to....
I love Ancient Aliens.
And they are apparently killing off channels from the indian bouquet, and always at the detriment of the south indian communityDStv is cutting three channels
DStv is set to cut three popular channels from its network at the end of October – History, Crime + Investigation, and Lifetime.
The contract term for these channels, which are all produced by the American broadcasting company A&E Television Networks, ends on 1 November 2019.

South Indian communities must unite and boycott Dstv, don't people learn anything from the right wing communities? And they are apparently killing off channels from the indian bouquet, and always at the detriment of the south indian community

Well that's new, but I think they're killing the ones people like.
I would think they should move the Afrikaans stuff onto it's own bouquet, like they do with every other community. It has also come to light that since DSTV Select will be discontinued and existing customers are migrated to DSTV Family they will now also lose access to Kyknet. DSTV has now made Kyknet available on only the top 2 channels (Premium and Compact Plus).
Needless to say many Afrikaans folks fuming on Die Burger and Media24 facebook pages...
Just wait until they try to love you back.
