Absolutely nonsense...... with all the repeats we have to deal with almost R1000 a month just to watch Sport and my crime channels, they want to take it away?.I see a SABC rerun on sh@t people don't want to watch. Please advise on Any alternatives, I pay R1500 a month, now for nothing

Saw a movie on Mmovies Premiere this week that was actually on Hallmark last week on an APK that I use. Was very surprised to see a made for TV movie basically on this " premiere " channel.

Downgrade to a lower package and pay less.
 
Gave up on the so called History channel years ago when they thought shows like Storage Wars was an historical event, but was delighted to find tons of historical programming on YOUTUBE!!!! for freeeeeeee!
 
DSTV was told that the History channel need more shows and it was suggested that DSTV itself become one of the main shows on the channel. DSTV then decided it will rather get rid of History than be part of it. A week after the announcement that History will be erased, the channel director was found dead in his holiday home. Unfortunately there is no Crime or Investigation.

They are really pushing their luck here, History has some watchable stuff.

Can they now also please cut SABC as well?

99% of all shows on History are still about history. Even stuff like Pawn Stars etc. At least it's not like MTV (which is still on) that is all about annoying dating shows these days. Not a trace of music anymore.

First they compel Multichoice to carry SABC channels. Now they want legislation to compel Multichoice to pay for SABC channels. :ROFL:
 
It's not MTV they have. It's MTV-B nvm see it is back. I gave up on it years ago, same as history.

They didn't cut TCM, it was renamed TNT and was part of Turner's strategy to rejig with more current "block busters".
 
Meh no difference, still pissed that TCM is gone. It made me like classic movies. Dstv might as well cut TNT because all the movies are shown on the action movie channel etc. It has happened that certain movies show on both the action movie channel as well as TNT on the same day.

Yeah mtv is on 130 that is all about dating shows. Actually I just discovered that MTV Music is on 323. And then MTV Base is still there. Didn't know about mtv music because I never go that far :) Cool stuff. But they can cut MTV on 130.. seriously

Yes, much better shows on Youtube. "The Great War" channel for example, 1000% better than anything I've seen on The History channel for as long as I've been watching The History Channel, and it's free to watch.
