DSTV on Jailbroken Ipad

So lets say theoretically that somebody has a jailbroken 'New' Ipad and would like to do the DSTV drifta thing or Idrifta.

I heard this does not work but there is a way around this?

Any ideas?

Which version do you use? I also have the Ipad "3" but it doesnt work for me?

When I use older versions it just says this device requires a application you do not have do you want to download it from the appstore.
When I say no it kicks me out. When i say yes it updates but detects it is jailbroken.

Downloading xCon from Cydia worked for me.

When did it stop working? I've got mate on iOS 7 and it worked when I set it up for him
