DStv Premium users to lose streaming service

It was bound to happen and with the latest workaround for accessing live streaming [without having a sub], it also comes as no surprise :p.

/i was just discussing this with my dad before accessing the forum only to see it happen :wtf:

//kindly do not PM for the current method of getting the streaming working, although i do not use said method, we have been instructed not to share it but i don't doubt someone may go public with it :whistling: .

How long is the d*ck of Multichoice? It seems to go on forever as they keep thrusting it deeper and deeper into subscribers' anuses.

So basically if you do not support fracking or exploration of the Karoo shale, and don't want to signal your support of fracking in the Karoo by buying an "Explora", you will not be paying the same amount for less. Well done MultiChoice. You win.

I love drunks.

It's not a difficult departure from "Explora" to "Exploration". Basically the subtext is that if you do not frack for shale in your backyard, we will simply charge you more for the same thing, or the same for less, until you support frack. I am strongly opposed to fracking, so I will not be buying an Explora. I go long periods without watching DSTV and have never taken a subscription. They need to make up better excuses to pilfer your monies.

I get what you're saying, and I feel the same. They will never ever see a cent of my money - I've already taken it elsewhere.

I've always found it more satisfying renting movies or tv shows than waiting for it to eventually come to TV, then waiting every week for it to show up. With R700 you can rent a helluva lot of movies every month, or go to the cinema if you're single.

Yeah, you shouldn't drink so early in the morning.

i'm intrigued as to how you can be on the premium package without pvr access? do you have a pvr decoder without the functionality enabled?
