DStv price hikes announced

I thought everyone cancelled the last time they hiked it?

Hehe, let's see how far they can stretch people's pockets

Talking about DSTV I have cancelled mine about a week ago and its still active right now, I pay via EFT and have not paid for the month, they didn't even suspend the service.Yesterday was checking if the service was still active, channels are still active however these monkeys cancelled the PVR access only and sent me a sms to pay R86.00

Does anyone know if one pays for DSTV in a month in advance that's the only reason I see them not suspending my service even though I called and asked them to cancel

Lucky me paying only R322 for full premium...

Payment end Jan or 1st Feb was for the month of Feb.
So come March you should be offline

Come to think of it ?????? DSTV will in the near future only keep the DIE HARD's who are sport MAD & those who are living in granny flats or shared accommodation that could split the monthly fees to make it affordable and worthwhile.....just my 2 cents:sick:

As long as you have die hard sport supporters DSTV will continue to take it in.
I don't have premium bit whilst at the gym I watched
indoor athletics in Germany and it was awesome.

I can see the appeal.

We enjoy our DSTV alot, use Catchup mostly and for us we see it as part of our entertainment budget. If you go out for a nice meal with wine for a family you could end up paying more.

with an increase of 13% in revenue, and core headline earnings of 9% - please would DSTv explain why they find these 'tough economic times'? I'm retired and on a pension - if they want to know about tough, come stay with me for a while.

Analogue MNET & CSN not getting an increase it seems . And GOTV? Is that still running?

Just stream your sport already, buy yourself a smart tv and stream the sports over wifi. You never ever have to support these sharks.
