It seems M-Net & co. are no longer sending out any highlights info, instead there's these dstv.co.za highlights articles which include other channels;

It really irritates me that they can't check their info and make sure that it is correct - especially for their own channels! Or at least update the info when things change. Last month there were several mistakes (for example Dollface on M-Net had the wrong starting date) and this month is the same.

There is no sign of "The Real War of Thrones Season 1" on Curiosity Stream for Fri 3 July and "Below the Surface Season 2" is not starting on 04 July - it already started last Saturday. Fortunately I managed to catch a repeat this morning. There might be other mistakes - I only checked what I was interested in for the coming week or so.

"The Real War of Thrones Season 1" has now been added to the EPG for tomorrow night as advertised.
 
Sorry - a bit off track... M-Net showed S13E01 of The Chase today (12h30) and it is also available on CU+ but there are no further episodes scheduled over the next 8 days. Strange....
 
Lots of strange things going on like that. More than "normal" behaviour of channels shifting their content last minute, changing of minds about CU content on older units, box office choice has gone terrible with old titles reappearing, xmas movies and older titles back on the main movie channels. I guess it's a survival scramble now.

Didn't know about that. I see its repeats are early tomorrow morning. Maybe they're experimenting and trying to find the best timeslot for The Chase? I think they said they're gonna move some popular ITV shows to other channels. Hope to see the return of some ITV shows, it was one of the best channels.
 
Episode 2 of The Chase is today at 12:30. So I guess it's now on every day.

I don't like the timeslot though. Wish it was on just before The Block at 4pm or so
 
Looks like we're probably going to get the English NHK World channel from Japan, some less-visited sections of the online guide are showing it and its channel number 432 (was for the Greek channel) isn't the orig. number it had/has as a FTA (Free To Air) channel on the northern Africa DStv satellites for years so unlikely to be a mistake.

Last watched, it was a mix of news from their perspective, and doccies... which means we would get to see directly what the leading tech development country is up to :- )
If it is coming seems it could be part of an attempt to replace some of the recent losses, and given its ch. position it's likely it would be Premium only in S.A.

Several back & forward messages with M-Net on Facebook has now confirmed The Chase will air every weekday at 12H00 (repeated early the next morning). For some reason they could not get the EPG to reflect this for more than one day into the future but several follow-up messages from me seems to now have that sorted out.
 
And there's a new Blacklist season isn't there? Wonder how many have been production-delayed by Covid.
 
I see Perry Mason starts on M-Net @ 22:00 on Tue. 28 Jul., which should be the slot for Billions E08.
So is Billions going on a long break, or messed up by Covid?

It stopped in the US on episode 7 (of 12) on 14 June so pretty sure it is COVID related.
 
Anyone with info on upcoming shows on M-Net channels this August ?
 
BTW, Handmaid's Tale star Elisabeth Moss is in the new Box Office movie "The Invisible Man". She plays a sort of parallel character in it... we enjoyed it.

Some availability info re ESPN since MC are being st00pid about the details; ESPN 1 (218) is for Family package upwards, info for ESPN 2 (219) was more confusing - according to Thinus it's on Premium and "Compact" - so he may mean it's including Compact and Compact Plus, or just the latter.

If anyone from MC is reading this - please don't let your what's on / news section endlessly get filled with repetitive desperate-for-subscribers and less-than-useful info, it discourages reading so is counter-productive as we have to wade through the masses of krahp as well. Ta
 
According to dstv on twatter ESPN2 is for Compact Plus and Premium only
