I am looking forward to the day when Multichoice will have to compete with a strong competitor. If it wasn't for the sport channels, I would have cancelled my subscription long ago. Yes, I am sick and tired of all the repeats and second hand recycled trash, dished-up on a daily basis!

I don't have DSTV... I do want it though, if only I had a bigger TV... then I'd get ONLY the super sport channels ;)

The reason DSTV does well is that SABC's so bad and there's no other alternative.

With the new football season starting next month i will have to get DSTV again. Luckily the football is on Compact. No way am i paying 500 odd rand for that crap they show 24/7

I'm so happy without DSTV I can't believe I kept a subscription as long as I did.
Oh the joys of discovering free tv The Pr0n on E is awesome.

I am on holiday, have been for about four weeks, and damn, I am so bored already! It took me like three days max to watch everything on DSTV, and till now they just rebroadcast everything! Jeez, still have holiday for two more weeks, and don't know what to do!

Is TelkomMedia really going to be a strong competitor?

Talking about "free TV", has anyone seen the TV License ad on tv with the old lady? It is the most awful ad with some of the most awful acting I have ever seen...

considering what R200 can buy today, I'm very happy with the compact boquet. Always something to watch if you want to watch.

Not worth the extra R300 for some movies. Get a DVD contract.

Worse than the son in Indiana Jones 4?!

Much worse. I would prefer Chinese water torture for a week instead of having to endure a week's worth of this ad. The ad agency representatives responsible for this awful piece of rubbish should be shot...
