I do not see this thread here at the moment. Does anyone have the game and could comment please? I'm considering buying it for me cause I loved the first two, just not sure if its worth it?

don't buy it game ends at level 28, and there's not more difficult level to play afterwards.

im not 100% sure, i just joined friends game online to help him with last 2 bosses, still need finish it on my lvl19 char :P

though i trust him when he says there is nothing else to do after you finished it.

game is fun yes, but its to short
 
I thought I'd try before I by. Glad I did, coz the game's tolly.

If you enjoyed 1 and 2,then for the love of mike - do not get nr3. It's been mangled and abused worse than a playboy in prison

3 is nothing like 1 and 2. The consoles got hold of it and turned it into a button masher.
 
dont ever buy this. i was so excited when i saw it was a square enix release. i love their jrpg's. but dungeon siege 3 is total ****. who doesnt put health potions in a rpg? WHO?????

You don't need potions as you have skills that does that for you. It takes a run or two to figure out how to setup each char but once you do that it is a really boring game (Like setting up Anjali with only Heal and AOE DPS :whistle:). The visuals are very nice though and at least it doesn't have Sacred 2's bugs and crashes. Items you pick up is not that great with a few pre-set gold/set items. What is nice for a change is that each character's inventory screen shows the attribs which are used by the character and if you swap a weapon or armor piece you instantly see the difference without having to go to a different are like the character page.

The game would have been much better if there was better loot, more game time and ok... maybe some potions :D
 
Points of interest:

*Don't let the Title mislead you, it's nothing like 1&2, though it's still a fun and good game. But is in no way a sequel to the EPICNESS we know as Dungeon Siege.

*The visuals are appealing.

*It's fun to play, but isn't challenging in any way. Even on hardest difficulty. Combat? NO!, Side Quests? NO!, Exploration? NO! And there is loot EVERYWHERE, nothing is special any more.

*You can't customise you character, not even in MP. (Skills you can customise of course, but not appearances; you only get 4 chars to choose from, that's it!)

*I REALLY RECOMMEND PLAYING THIS GAME WITH A CONTROLLER. Games like Batman, Devil May Cry, Red Faction just play better without a keyboard and mouse. And this one is no different.

what about the camera angle? in co-op the camera is fixed, its totally retarded and cant see anything :(

what a fail, idiots! why cant people make decent games these days :mad:

A friend a work got the PS3 version and said it sucks. He says he should have read a review first. Even on the PS3 he says he can't see anything so he's going to swap it out for something else.

Not actually. It's consumers that buy crap games and watch crap movies that are at issue. If people stopped pirating the good ideas(world of goo) and buying the rehashes(COD) the companies would be making more great ideas and less rehashes.
 
didn't they remove potions for diablo 3 as well ? thought i remembered something like from the first live action video
