Apparently its under control in so much as it can't spread to the surrounding area, but they have to let it mostly just burn out now... the wax is making it practically impossible to put out yet.

The smoke cloud seems to be settling down now...

This could be a very unpleasant drive home shortly...

Just taken from my balcony. Does not look under control. In fact, looks 10x worse than earlier...
 
Meh, just some noob trying out a Goundens curry for the first time, give the poor oke a glass of water to put the flames out.

Smoke stretches all the way to Ballito. I'm at home and the sky is black and you can only just make out Umlhanga even though it's only a couple kms away.
 
There was some moderate rain this arvie in the south that was headed that way, so it must've helped a bit.
When I left the office though the smoke was still billowing out of the area though.
