It's a non-issue I suspect. Assuming someone there has an IQ above room temp they stopped pumping fuel. And the remaining fuel in the pipe can't burn since it's all liquid...no oxygen.Anyone know if those petrol stations have tanks or are piped from the refinery?

It's not as simple as just removing the stuff... You need another safe storage location etc or you are just spreading the danger to another place...

There is SAPREF of course and all the storage tanks by the airport. There is also one in the middle of Merebank God awful place for a refinery right in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
