Durban

Well it seems like today dbn is in a bit of a rut... only getting 40kbit/s here don't know what has changed if anything or there is more traffic than usual. Will have to check it again tonight.. this might have to do with the updated to the towers to 4.2.2.7 I think but I could be wrong. We'll see how it runs tonight.. but rightnow.. it's slow.. and the line is congested(I always get allot of loss when the line is at maximum)

Yes, I'm getting 50-54kb/s (Rodent's test), 50% down from last week.
Downloading from Tucows (IS) has gone from +12kB/s to about 6kB/s now.
This since Wednesday.

It's not that causing the problem....I'm getting good pings.
This is obviously a lack of bandwidth!!!

Your line speed is approximately 47 Kbps or 5.8 kBytes/sec

we're right back where we started 7th May :(

Guys in DBN check your IP's it seems like we are being moved from the 66.18 range to the 192.3xx.xxx.xxx range.. the speed will probably be bad till the move or what ever their doing is done. Speeds this morning are around 53.20kbps - 96.5kbits/s.

Be4 I left home this moring, I reconnected and I was still getting 66.18...... That was at 7:15

I'm on 196.34.x.x now, Sunningdale is up and down like a yo-yo again this morning.

I think that the 256K users have been moved over to 192.xxx
128K users are still on 66.xxx

Certainly seems like 256 are on 196.xxx but with the move I've inherited the Jhb speed problems, running at 1-2K per second now, aaaaaaargh time to phone the black hole of death <del><del><del> help desk

Rhino/Cerberus... how are your speeds?
I'm back to normal again!
