Duromine diet pills

No, I don't always prepare food with fresh ingredients. I have one hour between getting home and going to gym and taking care of 2 kids, so I often opt in for just cooking frozen food.
How much of that food is processed though? I'm not talking about frozen mashed potato or grated carrots - I mean processed in the sense that pasta, sweets, soft-drinks, bread etc. is a processed or refined food.

Here is another one with more information.

So, you did no research, just that in your anecdotal evidence, it does not work for you, and therefore, you attack and insult anyone who recommends it?

Who cares if the sheep are for it? Sheep are for lots of things. Why get so upset about it? So it doesnt work for you but works for millions of others - including professional athletes? So what!

I know it will be different cooking for kids, but what I do is that I cook on weekends, or 1 or 2 nights per week. I cook large batches of food that freezes well, and then freeze it. That way, I get to eat healthy food that I have cooked myself, but I don't have to cook every night.

I also cook new batches before the old ones are finished, which allows me some variety. So I don't have to eat the same thing every night. I think I have 7 nights worth of food in my freezer at the moment. I have 3 chicken curry, a few bolognaise, and maybe a chilli con carne if I am lucky.

Of course I researched it what are you on about? Carbs are your body's preferred energy source end of debate.

boernooi,

Sounds like your diet is the problem. Do you know how much cal/kJ wise you are eating, and what macros you are eating?

You can still get overweight by just eating "clean" foods.

We don't buy pasta, potatoes or bread. I don't do soft drinks, I'll have juice (I know, high sugar), coffee or water. I don't do sweets either. IF I do any of the above, it will be once or twice a month.

No, I don't know.

I saw better results by eating carbs and doing better exercises than I saw with banting. Don't like banting, don't like the food. Prefer to eat what I want and work it off, more sustainable as well - for me at least, I love pizza.

No I'm saying no serious bodybuilder would consider LCHF there is a difference between going to the gym to settle your conscious and to actually gym which you can't because LCHF does not allow you to perform at that level

I disagree with you, I know some seriously big guys that do LCHF. You do get tons of protein in that diet.

No, I don't know.

No offence, but that is your problem.

Thor is right, you are on the right path, or the first step, ie YOU want to improve the way you are.

However, at one stage you going to have to see how much you are consuming per day, plus eating the correct amount of needed macros (protein, carbs, fats) and micros (vitamins minerals etc) in order to reach your final goal.

Note for the zealots, I'm not saying calorie counting is the only thing she can do, but it might help later.

Some food for thought, boernooi:

No you do not get Tons of protein. You barely get protein that's the whole point of these oaks !!

No carbs less than minimum protein and fck loads of fats

Yeah look banting isnt for everyone. It worked wonders for me though. Carbs really break me so avoiding them made all the difference.
I was gymming heavily for about 3 years, benching 150 etc so not playing around and I didnt lose weight on carbs.
Then came triathlon and I was running 50ks, cycling 150ks and swimming around 5 - each week, and I still didnt lose any weight...
So I cut out carbs and the weight fell off.

Sure if you follow the full ratio of protein/fats/carbs. Hardly anyone does though and end up with majority protein followed by fats and carbs.

But the links I have posted contradict what you say. Professional athletes compete just fine on LCHF.

Maybe you just got the diet wrong? I don' think low protein is part of it, for instance.

The real world results which you are to afraid to test tells a different story and just the fact that you dont get the protein amount needed ia evidence enough in itself.

I spend some time in that LCHF thread and all of them went apeshiat whem protein gets mentioned.

When I researched LCHF, low protein was actually recommended, since they are afraid excess will be converted into glucose by the liver, via gluconeogenesis.

Lol I don't do LCHF, you already know that.

Many many athletes do LCHF, and do fine. Look at those links I sent you. Did you read them? Professional runners, for instance.

Stop getting butthurt because you failed at LCHF. Other people have made it work.

I'm not buthurt c'mon man :) I am just biased against it due to the protein intake etc

I didn't fail at all like I said I saw marvelous results, but it was not a adequate diet for my lifestyle (High protein)

Okay so why do you care if people recommend it?

We know:

1) It does not work for you.
2) It can work for other people.

So?

Apologies for Thor, he sees anything weight loss as an indication that everyone wants to go full gym bunny. He may be able to 'klap gym' with the best of them and think he looks like Chris Hemsworth but unfortunately he knows vokkol about weight loss.

No entirely sure why anyone would think weight loss is the same process as bodybuilding but it must be wonderful to be in his mind.

If you do choose LCHF do some extensive research first as there's a lot you can get wrong without realising it. Just please stay away from the pills... And keep up the work at the gym, give it time and you'll feel like a million bucks.

EDIT: Err and below I didn't attack you, I said your position on weight loss is ignorant and harmful. It is.
