My personality doesn't change in the slightest when I have had some/many drinks.

I really can't understand why some people do stupid or strange things when they are drunk.

But the thing with me is that I can drink as much as I like. I will pass out long before my personality changes.

Lots of issues seem to be the result of alcoholism.

Some may say alcoholism is the result of issues.

Of course it's no solution.

Most families are dysfunctional at some level. That's part of life. The level of dysfunction and your personality type usually determines whether you make out the other side as a functional/normal adult person. Many of us don't. The important thing remains to talk about our feelings around what's going on.

dude, i can relate. taking on aspects of on of your parents is super scary. especially when you realize it's one of those things you can't stand in them!

One of the things that really irritates me is How my younger sister gets away with murder and does stuff i was never allowed to do in a million years. Its like my parents have gone lax. When Im at home Im forever shouting at her acting like the parent. Its weird....

The middle child is limited and has to do weird and wonderful things to be noticed. Sadly, I'm the middle child ,

Last born-well, by this stage the parents have seen it all, and let the children be more "free", and it pisses me off.

+1 Although in my family there is no middle child. There is me then my younger sister, who gets away with things I would never have dreamed of doing when I was her age.

First born's do most things accourding to the book and the middle child is almost always more innovative than the others - all the greatest inventors have been middle children as I recall, so don't feel so bad.
