E-tolls will go ahead

did not really expect this to succeed as the court cannot set laws ..... its their jobs to follow the law ....
unfortunately ... looks like the only option is to burn the things to the ground :)
or if you let sanity prevail ... then vote the ANC out!!

And in related news, clicks is running a special on 1kg tubs of Vaseline

Still not getting a tag.

I'm with you. But you know what.. they'll just pass the cost into the next increase in rates. It's a lose / lose for us citizens.

They are out to make money out of this.. they'll find ways of increasing prices/rates to make it work.

I'll just change my middle name to "Fookked-d-d" then. With all the price increases we're facing after this year's poor production output, plus an interest-rate hike, I suspect 2013's gonna be a real toughie.

Sighz.

And the losses will be tagged onto the fuel price as another levy. So the whole of SA will pay for the Gauteng toll scam...I say burn the sh*t to the ground.

yip... at the end of the day.. everyone will pay for GP toll scam.

Ok, so government has now effectively challenged the citizens of Gauteng to stand together.

Here's what I suggest:

* Don't get a tag
* Query/Dispute EVERY single transaction EVERY month, the admin work will kill them
* Be a d**S to anyone driving on the highway with an e-tag in his car

Mr. Zuma/ ANC/ Government.... GAME ON YOU CORRUPT FCSKERS

i love taxi drivers!
especially with some nando's sauce, on rye

Why not ? If WE as the people of gauteng want to fight this, how can we allow people to support these corrupt ***kers ?

Because some don't have a choice (company car, rental, etc). You're advocating being a dick to a victim. Let the e-tag be its own punishment. Not giving a gap to an oke with an e-tag would be a poor reflection on yourself and if s/he was a tourist, they'd remember the "friendly" road welcome they received.

Just saying...
