Easy Equities good or bad?

Does anyone know what happens to the dividends in the fund. Does it get reinvested in the tax free fund or do you get the cash?
If dividends get paid as opposed to being put back into the ETF it will be paid into the TFA. You can withdraw it yourself. If they paid it out in cash and you reinvested it it would count against your deposit limits.

Is it an elections.

Do you know if withdrawing funds in this way negatively counts against your 500k Max limit otherwise why would everyone encourage using the tax-free transfer method instead?

Thank you.. Cud have sworn I read something about it being bad in some way. Either for the 500k or for ur 36k limit per year, hence why u shud do a transfer instead. Maybe its if u withdraw and then deposit again it eats u to ur limit
Yes, redepositing would count against the limit

Withdrawing is bad because you rob yourself of the opportunity to reinvest and have more growth. Should be reinvesting your dividends unless you're ooooooooold.

Is any one having difficulties in but etf on EasyEquities today. It says product not available

The website is slow, crashing and non-responsive for the past 2 weeks.

Is the site's/service true colors coming to light?

No issues here, but they did advise they are experiencing high volumes. That may be why?

The "high load" notice has been up for 2 weeks now. The mobile app is even worse than the site. This is not a reliable website for trading. Especially on days of demand like the current economic situation. If you are unable to access your portfolio or even move money when needed, this is a red flag of note.

I'm trying to look through EE offerings and the site (on Waterfox and Brave) is stuck on an endless "Fetching Latest Data" loop. Is anyone else having this problem

On a side not, does anyone know if I can buy Coca-Cola shares on there?

I've had it with this crap platform of theirs. You cannot trust the spread numbers on their site.

They indicate a buy at value of R47 and you still end up paying R60.

**** em. I've had so many incidents with them (wrong pricing, wrong dividends, no dividends, cancelled buy orders still going off 3 weeks later, pricing issues). The moment it is profitable I'm saying good buy to Savage and his dinky toy platform.

You end up losing so much money with them that you can just as well pay a proper platform monthly fees.

Daaamn, I havnt been paying attention it seems. Thought this wud be where imma put all my TFSA from now on but now u got me worried. I do have to say tho I did notice the one time I wanted to sell my government bonds that showed its 400 bucks in green when I hit sell it gave me a price of 1.5k less than my investment value. Thought screw this, maybe I'm not understanding something here

I moved my TFSA also lately.

My advice to buying is super easy. Before you buy, google that same share via bloomberg (and look what they are saying is the cost).

If it is = (then you are in the green)
