I have a cient who has an exchange server sp2 server , they can send mail to most domain address but from the one or two domains thaey get the below error
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject: test
Sent: 2011/05/05 02:10 PM
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:
xxxxx.co.za on 2011/05/05 02:10 PM
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<xxxxx.xxxxx.localnet #5.5.0 smtp;550 Unroutable address>
from my experiance this error comes when an exchange server does not have an external DNS server configured in their smtp virtual server setting , the thing which is boggling me now is their mails are routed through web africa and thier ISP is neotel ,i need some advice , my first bet would be to add the web africa 's dns to their smtp virtual server settings . please good pple can you point me in the right direction here or should i add thier Neotel DNS to the settings ...
