Hey guys.
I’m looking to get some springbok merchandise and I see these guys have a Black Friday deals. Anyone used them before? Legit? I found a few positive reviews but not sure. Free delivery too.. sounds to good to be true or am I being too suspicious here.

I have been getting quite a few PM's about egadgets, so to make my life easier let me update this post.
I have dealt with them many times since that post and purchased quite a few items and I have been more than happy with the service received and their prices too.

Anyone else that can confirm if this company is legit? Their company registration number and VAT number are legit. Had good google and bidorbuy reviews. No mentions on Hello peter and just this post on MyBroadband.
i had an order with them which never came and now they mived the ETA to next year. Ive requested a refund and now Silence. Begining to worry a little. Thanks.

I buy from them all the time. They 100% legit and most of the time the cheapest around. Been around since 2015 I think. My company also started using them earlier this year. I ordered a few items last week and there seems to be stock issues on some of their items currently as I am also waiting for my stuff. Not worried or anything, as I know it will eventually come.

thanks it does help me feel a bit better. i have never done business with them before and thought i did enough due diligence. They have been around since 2015 and verified on bidorbuy since 2018 and also sell on takealot. I messaged them before i paid and the confirmed stock was arriving on friday. I then messaged at end of business on friday to ask if it had arrived and was told it had arrived late but warehouse was unpacking the pallet and would get back to me on monday. On monday end of day they were still unpacking the pallet and on tuesday I was told my product wasnt in the shipment and new ETA was january. I requested a refund and havnt heard a thing since. Kind of weird they not mentioned here or hellopeter but i will do the first hellopeter review on them. hopefully they just process the refund and i can say that. Thanks again.
 
Good luck with getting a refund! I actually placed an order with them at the beginning of this month. Was informed that there would be some delays with the delivery. However, they told me it would be sent out 'at latest' by the following Monday. I acknowledged the delay, but requested that the order be cancelled and refunded if it cannot be delivered by the Monday since I needed the item urgently. No response. I send another email to request cancellation. No response.

Two weeks later, the item surreptitiously gets delivered to my house. Alright then..

To be fair, the item works perfectly well. It would just be nice for them to be more transparent during the order process. And to give accurate expected delivery dates.
I won't be purchasing anything from them in future after being left in the dark like that.
 
EGadgets is actually a great site, I have ordered numerous times for my company. I dont agree with 8tgp88 comments as many businesses including myself have found logistics and imports challenging and delays due to global supply chains being disrupted with all the events happening in the world recently. Loadshedding too contributes to delays and service delivery. Give people a chance guys
 
Guys, eGadgets may be legit, but they won't think twice about scamming some customers. I bought an item at the start of April. When it didn't arrive by the first week in May, I requested to cancel the order and asked for a refund. They replied, saying it will take 10 - 15 working days to complete the refund. It's now the 16th working day. No money. No replies. I don't expect to see either the money or the item. STAY AWAY.

Maybe he's just telling the truth. Every company has its ups and downs, does the company YOU work for have zero complaining customers or NO issues whatsoever with your customers and jobs? Really unfair when people are so nasty on social media..i bought so much of stuff from them, personally and for my company, they carry similar to takealot but cheaper, there's waiting time with takealot too ....
 
Stay away from eGadgtes. Ordered item 5 May 2022, they say item got damaged in transit and cannot replace till 3 June 2022. Asked for a refund, I have to wait till 10 July 2022 to my refund. Think I have been scammed.

I have also been waiting on a refund for over 3 weeks. Keep getting apologies and that I must be patient, but surely a refund should not take this long
 
To all of you who have been ripped off by these guys, please log a dispute with your bank if you've paid by credit card. The bank will refund you if their refund time has elapsed. Also open a case against them. The more people that report them the better.
 
I paid with an EFT. No buyer protection for that. Regretting that decision.

I'm still waiting for my refund.

With Credit or debit card payments can open a chargeback with the bank, with an EFT not unfortunately unless within an hour or two.
